Key Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, comprehensive nursing care to maternal and newborn patients according to established clinical standards and scope of practice.
• Clinical Assessment & Response: Continuously monitor patient conditions; detect, interpret, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in status or treatment responses.
• Patient Advocacy & Escalation: Appropriately utilize the clinical chain of command to ensure patient well-being, safety, and appropriateness of care.
• Education & Guidance: Direct and guide patient/family health teaching; provide leadership, oversight, and direction to auxiliary nursing personnel.
• Safety & Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment for patients, families, and visitors.
