Interventional Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab / IR / Neuro)

Schedule & Call Requirements

  • Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (06:30 – 17:00).
  • On-Call: Emergency after-hours call is required. (Currently a minimum of 15 call shifts per month). 

Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Technologist to serve as a First Assist to physicians across multiple disciplines. This role requires a high degree of independence and technical expertise in cardiac, vascular, and neurological interventions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Procedural Support: Scrub and monitor for Cardiac, Vascular, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Interventional Neurology procedures.
  • Clinical Care: Manage access sites and patient symptoms, including expert sheath removal.
  • Patient Coordination: Assist with the admission, recovery, and discharge of in-and-outpatients; manage scheduling for all procedural cases.
  • Emergency Response: Provide critical coverage for emergency after-hours call-ins. 

Qualifications

  • Required Experience: Previous Cath Lab (CCL) experience is mandatory.
  • Specialized Expertise: Must have direct experience in Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neurology.
  • Technical Skill: Ability to function as the primary assistant to the physician and work independently in a high-acuity environment. [1]
