Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during complex CVOR cases, including open heart and vascular surgeries
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
- Handle, organize, and pass surgical instruments and supplies
- Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment and technology
- Ensure proper sterilization and setup of instruments and equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
- Participate in preoperative setup and postoperative cleanup
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff
