Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist (Traveler)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract. This role involves assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and maintaining a sterile environment in a fast-paced setting. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Procedure Support: Scrub into and circulate during various procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Imaging Excellence: Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment (fluoroscopy) to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and ensure overall safety and comfort.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in STEMI on-call rotations, providing critical support during acute cardiac emergencies. 
     

Qualifications & Requirements

  • License: Must hold a Required Radiology License (ARRT/state-specific). Note: Cardiovascular Technicians (CVT/RCIS) without a Radiology License will not be accepted for this specific role.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications are typically required for Cath Lab Tech roles.
  • Availability: Must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled. 
     

Shift & Schedule Details

  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
  • Shift Type: Dayshift.
  • Hours: 07:00 – 15:30 (8-hour shifts), 5 days per week.
  • Call Requirements: STEMI On-Call is required in addition to regular shifts.
