CVOR Cert Surgical Technologist I

Job Summary:

Facilitate operative or other invasive procedures by preparing and providing required sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment, while maintaining the sterile field. Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team throughout the procedure.

CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists have a professional obligation to actively participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continued education.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education:

• Completion of an approved Surgical Technology Program

Minimum Work Experience:

• No Previous Experience Required

Required Licenses/Certifications:

• CPR – BCLS
• Must maintain a valid Surgical Technologist certification

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Effective communication with hospital personnel
• Advocate for quality and cost-effective care
• Maintain professional appearance at all times
• Ability to handle confidential information
