Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Family Medicine Practice. There will be some urgent care as well in the beginning.  
  • Like to build up to 18-22 patients a day
  • Seeing full age spectrum of patients
  • No OB
  • Panama City

Residency Trained Family Med. (preferred) or IM/Peds
Specialty: Family Medicine – Will look at IM/Peds. 
Board Certification: 
ABFM or Board eligible if new grad.  IM/Peds
State Medical License: FL
Years of Experience: Open to residents

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: Salary Plus RVU (18-22 a day will make $260) 25 a day will make $280-300k)
  • Bonus Structure: RVU based Comp with No Cap

EMR: Allscripts/ moving to EPIC in 2025

Shifts/Hours: M-F 8a-5p Willing to be flexible with someone looking for less shifts.  At first will need someone willing to cover some shifts on the weekend.

Call Schedule: Weekday Call is shared among the physicians in your practice and partner practice (in Blountstown) and is generally 1:5
Weekend Call is shared among the whole group (all the practices -25 -30 docs) and is roughly 2x’s a year.
Initial Triage call by RN’s

Expected Start Date: ASAP

Why is the Role Open?  Practice is established with 2 docs.  They are moving over to a brand new building and a new urgent care. This will be started as a walk-in. August 2024 This will be a 80,000 sq ft medical office bldg. on the new campus.
